Manage large projects at high-end companies. People management skills needed.
Projects fluctuate between 20 and 50K man-days (business, IT and internal employees together). Usually it concerns the following composition:
Tactical Level:
Project manager
Solution architect
Quality assurance manager
Change manager
Operationally, the Project Manager is responsible for:
-/ Functional teams with the following flows:
Customer/Sales lead
HR project manager/lead
Finance project manager/lead
Procurement/Logistics project manager/lead
Production (if industrial customers)
Asset management (with our utility customers)
-/ Technical teams with the following streams:
Data governance
Data migration
Reporting Document Management/Presentment
Technical integration => EAI/EDI/API mgt
Development team (Front and back end)
-/ Infrastructure team:
Knowledge of Cloud platforms: MS Azure
Security & Privacy
In addition, he works closely with Test Manager, Release Manager,...
Given the size of the projects, we work in two steps:
Solution design phase:
High level requirements and design of the total solution (final image).
Realization:
Parts that need to be built (functional build/configuraite is driver here). In addition, teams can be deployed to develop cases (often custom work that is not standard in the applications).
Finally, the Hypercare and Support phase follows
